This plain-English policy explains how Named in Seoul handles the details used to create your name result.

What we collect
To create a result, we collect your given name, optional pronunciation and meaning, birth date, optional birth time, time zone, name preferences, and your consent record. If you purchase the paid report, we also process the email address you provide at checkout to deliver your report and receipt.
Why we use it
We use these details only to calculate the saju chart, analyze the connection to your given name, generate candidates, store your result, and operate and improve the service.
Analytics
Server-side product events contain only non-identifying properties such as selected mode, whether optional fields were provided, and calculation duration. Names, birth details, and email addresses are forbidden from analytics properties.
Results and access
Results use a cryptographically random link token. The result page does not display your full birth date or birth time. Anyone with the result link may be able to view it, so keep the link private.
Age
The service is intended for users aged sixteen and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a younger person has submitted their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Data retention
We keep your naming request and result while your report link remains active so you can return to it. You can delete your data at any time with the form below. Records of paid transactions are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after the report itself is deleted.
